Quick rant before bed:
Will all the SWTOR naysayers please STFU and let those who genuinely enjoy the game play it without having to deal with your vitriol.
If you don't like the game, simply smeg off and play something else. No-one wants to hear your negative parroting of other people's facts (convenient link to the wiki which explains what the word 'fact' means, many people need to familiarise themselves with this information, it seems).
*sigh* and with that, I think I'm done for the day.

It lives! (and the dangers of 'kickstarters')
Thats right folks! I'm actually not dead! I have been very busy with my new role at work, and forgot to update my blog =B'Þ
On to more interesting things. I've heard a lot about kickstarters lately. "WTF?" you may ask? Well wonder ye not!
A fantastic idea in theory, and I'm sure it'll help many people who were having problems getting recognised for their skill get the funding they need. The only thing that worries me is that it may dilute the market, making it harder for punters to see the 'wood for the trees'.
Let's face it, if there are more things to try, then that's got to be a good thing, right? But what if more of the things which are tried are pants? It could be detrimental to creativity as a whole as people will gravitate to the well established brands/artists to avoid being burned. A word of caution!

Mondays :(
Why do Monday's always seem so depressing? Busy week preparing for my family's short break. Still, I'll try and cram some gaming in somewhere!
Right, where's that coffee gone.....

Gaming babble & Sherlock
Had a good session on SWTOR last night, one of the few sessions I've been able to get in lately, what with my wife AND daughter being ill! Got my Republic Trooper to 27. Fantastic class quest, looks like I'll be getting an ED-209-a-like for my next companion character.
In other news, a mate at work shared some interesting links. These are all personal blogs for characters from BBC's Sherlock:
Dr John Watson
Sherlock Holmes
Molly Hooper
If you're a fan of the show, have a look. The wife also read a rumour that a THIRD SEASON has been authorised. Looks like The Great Detective is heading for a resurrection!
Kudos to BDJ for finding the links.
If you haven't seen Sherlock yet, you really are missing out. You can catch the latest series on BBC iPlayer, although I'm not sure if season one is still on there.
EDIT: Found another Sherlock site:
